Preparing For Your Appointment

Fill In The Blanks

Be sure to fill in the blanks in all spaces on your document before your notary arrives. Documents without a notary certificate cannot be notarized.

Wait To Sign

Please do not sign your documents until you are in the prescense of your notary.

Clarify Any Questions In Advance

If there are any questions about how to complete your documents please contact the person who drafted or requested the signing. As a notary public we are unable to give any legal advice or assistance in the completion of any documents.

Have Your ID Handy

To have a document notarized you must physically appear in person and present a valid ID such as a Driver's License, Passport, Military ID or Government ID.

Get A Witness

If the individual signing does not have and is unable to get an ID (an elderly person confined to a retirement home, is a good example) he or she may still be able to sign. In this case, a witness must be present who can attest to the identity of the signer and have their own ID. When you reach out about your appointment, please let us know if a signer cannot get ID so we can plan accordingly in advance.

Certify Necessary Copies

For copy certifications, the original document must be present. Vital records (such as birth, death or marriage certificates) cannot be notarized.

We Are Here for your Houston & East Texas Mobile Notary Needs

Preparing for your notary or signing appointment with a mobile notary can help ensure a smooth and efficient process. First, ensure you have all the necessary documents and identification ready. It’s also helpful to clearly understand the purpose of the notarization and any specific instructions or requirements from the requesting party. Before the appointment, confirm the date, time, and location with the mobile notary, and make sure to have a quiet and private space available for the signing. During the appointment, be prepared to provide additional information or clarification as needed and carefully review all documents before signing. With these steps, you can help ensure a successful notary or signing appointment with a mobile notary.
